GIVING BACK

When I started In Good Order in 2019, one of my priorities was to use my organizing skills to help others. It’s one of the things I love about organizing - it can make life easier.

Giving Back at In Good Order, LLC

We are committed to helping non-profits, families, and individuals who would benefit from professional organizing services but don’t have the resources to hire a professional. In the past we’ve been able to help organizations like Celebrate RVA and Ronald McDonald House Charities. By helping them get organized, it allows them to focus their resources on what they do best - supporting children and families in Richmond.

We will be donating two four-hour sessions per quarter. To nominate a non-profit organization, family or individual, please click the button below. Nominees must be local to Richmond, Virginia and the surrounding areas.

"Working with Mary was one of the best decisions I made in the midst of moving into our Community Center! We had just completed a 18-month long construction project and had to move all of our furniture and supplies in from storage. We met with Mary before anything was even moved in and she took to the time to understand our needs and how we would be using the space. With that information, she developed a plan to organize our space in a way that made sense. She took all of the things we had shared into consideration - that volunteers would be sorting and we needed a system that worked for everyone, what materials and supplies we reached for most often, and how we processed incoming donations. Mary brought joy into her work and shared her energy with our entire team - we are so grateful for all the work she did for our organization - she truly transformed our day to day and helped us create systems that work."
